The International Proxy Parents (IPP), in association with the Embassy of Chile, will be hosting a Wine and Cheese Soiree at the Embassy’s Residence of His Excellency Ambassador Eduardo Banilloa in support of the ongoing efforts of the IPP to raise funds for scholarships for bright, but financially challenged students across Jamaica.

The event promises to be an enjoyable evening of fine wines and food stations laden with a smorgasbord of delectable cheeses and a mouth watering menu prepared from the Kitchen of the Chilean Embassy, Jamaica Pegasus Hotel and Opa (Greek) Restaurant. Other sponsors for the event are Jamaica Blue Water, True Juice, Tai Flora Services for décor and GK Mainland Cheeses.

Complementing the scrumptious fare will be top class live entertainment by Classical Violinist Steven Woodham, Vocalist Sandra Crawford, classical guitarist Luis Phillipe from Venezuela and recorded music by Peter Phillips Disco. Patrons will also get a chance to win raffle prizes and a great prize of a weekend for 2 in Negril and much more.

The IPP has been in existence for over 35 years, providing scholarships to financially challenged students in high schools, helping to refurbish childrens’ homes, exposing the youngsters to theatre performances and engaging them in music programmes.
